Reflections on Web 2.0
This is fun for me. I enjoy experimenting and trying new things. I used to do this in the old format for my class, and it was very difficult. This is so easy! I'm looking forward to using this new format in a very informative way. I'm not sure if it can be a place that parents can post things, or just me. I know that teachers could definitely use it to update parents of items in the classroom. I'd like to see what others are doing to implement Web 2.0 in their schools.

Love the Travolta look! Thanks for the support. We are on our way to becoming professional bloggers. By the way, beautiful picture of the family.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for encouraging us all to take this class! I, too, am looking forward to the challenges and experiences. I've already had so much fun! It is great to do with friends! I have three teachers taking it with us. One has already started a classroom blog with her kids! Woohoo! Isn't it great!
Hey, my friend. I am on. Can you believe it. Check my blog out at http://techsploringprincipal.blogspot.com/. The family looks great. I'll have to get my own up there. Looking forward to working through all of this with some friends. Have a great weekend.

Not only can blogs help teachers inform parents, they can help inform teachers too! I'm beginning to rely on blogging as well as an online presence to inform Mesquite Social Studies teachers about anything that is happening. Check out the Social Studies blog at http://web20.mesquiteisd.org/groups/theglobalview/blog/
